Katrina
Certifications: barn management, jumping, dressage, training horses
Katrina has worked her way from the ground up at Roaring Brook. She has now been a part of the team for nearly a decade. She worked in all areas of the kennel before being offered an assistant manager position and now, kennel manager.
She has learned everything from basic care, to reading dog body language, to customer service. She loves to watch the dogs make new bonds and connections with new people and animals. She enjoys being able to help the more stressed dogs become comfortable.
In her spare time Katrina enjoys riding horses and spending time with her daughter, going fishing, hiking and playing video games.
She has four dogs and two goats.

Heather
Heather has been a member of the Roaring Brook team for about a decade. She first started as a daycare attendant and worked her way up to become General Manager. She has continued to learn throughout the years through education and hands-on experience. She is CPR certified, regularly attends continuing education and is currently working towards more certifications. In her downtime, she enjoys nature and spending time with her dogs and family. She currently has three dogs, one of which is in training to be her service dog.

Meet our daycare attendants

Erin
Post University – BS in Homeland Security and Emergency Management
Erin started working at an animal hospital in 2000 in a kennel. She has since spent one year at Northwestern Community College for veterinary technician. She first start working at Roaring Brook in 2017 in the kennel and then the daycare including some time in reception. She loves getting to work with the daycare pups.
Erin has two horses, four greyhounds, one labradoodle, once cat and three ducks.

Meghan
Meghan has 25 years of grooming experience and a lifelong passion for animals. She combines a sense of wonder with a constant zeal for learning new techniques and products. Her goal is to provide the best possible experience for you and your pet by prioritizing clear communication regarding coat texture, temperament, and home maintenance. She welcomes your input and ideas to ensure your fur-baby receives a beautiful high-quality groom in a happy environment.
Meet our trainers

Jesse
Jesse specializes in working with pet dogs, detection, tracking, and PTSD service dogs. He was a k9 handler in the army until he became a drill sergeant in 1999. After ETS from the army in 2004, he then was a K9 handler in private security. Jesse enjoys doing PSA and PPD training with his personal dogs

Victoria
Victoria specializes in working with pet dogs, is knowledgeable about animal nutrition, and decoys for working K9s for fun. She is currently doing continuing education in a behavior modification mentorship program to gain more skills in working with more difficult dogs. Outside of training dogs, Victoria enjoys working as a stagehand and cuddling with her cats while reading her favorite books.
